Thigh Lift Surgery Cost in Delhi
What is a Thigh Lift?
As we get older our skin starts to lose its firmness and our thigh is one part of our body which has the susceptibility to accumulate fat and lose firmness. The purpose of Thigh Lift is to correct this problem with surgery which reshapes the thighs by removing excess skin, and in some cases fat using liposuction resulting in smoother toned skin and proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.
Thigh reduction is generally focused around inner thigh or as extensive as a lower body lift. In that case the buttock and back of thigh, hips and outer (lateral) thigh, front (anterior) thigh and inner (medial) thigh are targeted. The Most common technique used plastic surgeons is to make incisions in the groin that extend downward and wrap around the back of the thigh. The underlying tissue is tightened, and skin is reduced and redraped, resulting in more proportionate and smoother body contours.
Who is the ideal candidate for Thigh Surgery?
- Someone whose weight is fairly stable
- Patient who has excess soft tissue along the inner or medial thigh region and the outer thigh
- Patients who do not have medical conditions that increase risk of surgery and healing
- After the surgery it is important to lead a healthy lifestyle including proper nutrition and fitness.
How long it takes to recover from this surgery?
When your surgery is complete the doctor will apply dressing or bandages and a compression garment is often used to minimize swelling. Also the compression garment acts as a support to the new contour of your thighs as you heal. Also small, thin tubes may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain excess fluid or blood that may collect. Dissolvable deep sutures are used to close any incisions that take around four months. It is advisable to take minimum 10 working days off because plenty of rest is needed in the initial stage for healing. Patient must remain in either a reclining or standing position to help the healing process. Bruising and swelling is a common occurrence after surgery, which and can last up to one month. Total recovery from thigh lift takes four to six months to return to normal activities.
